A conversation about Vāstu often begins with the arrangement inside a building: an entrance, a kitchen, a room or an object. Those questions matter. Yet the form containing them deserves equal care—its measure, proportion, orientation and relationship to the surrounding site. VastuEngine exists to bring these connected questions into a clearer and more responsible design conversation.
Our core focus is Vāstu Gaṇitam—the mathematical and technical study of building measure within the tradition. Vāstu Yoni and the V6 Ṣaḍāyādi examination represent the platform’s present dimensional work. Each instrument has a defined purpose, measurement basis and interpretive boundary, so that a numerical finding remains connected to the building decision it is intended to support.
The wider direction includes sacred geometry, Māna and proportion, shape studies, Vāstu Puruṣa Maṇḍala planning, doorway and spatial placement, VastuCAD and Vāstu Muhūrta. These are areas of continuing development, not a claim that every capability is already released. They will be introduced as clearly scoped instruments when their methods and public workflows are ready.
A rule-based calculation does not invent a new answer for every visitor. The same complete inputs, measurement convention and method version should reproduce the same numerical result. Interpretation then explains its traditional meaning and its limits. Dimensional suitability remains one part of an architectural decision; it does not replace structural safety, applicable regulations, site conditions or the practical needs of the people who will use the building.
Research and product direction is led by Dr. Giriraj Kiradoo through an ongoing practice of source study, method definition and computational implementation. The responsibility is to make complex knowledge easier to examine without presenting a traditional interpretation as experimental proof or a numerical result as an unrestricted verdict on the whole building.
